Where Every Child Begins to Thrive
A non-profit childcare center in Stamford, CT — serving children 6 weeks to 5 years since 1970.
Our Story
The Learning Center at Piper's Hill was founded in 1970 as a hotel and camp for children. It was a unique environment for its time since it provided overnight and weekend care for family emergencies and business travel.
The original site was a leased ten-acre location that gave the children the opportunity to explore nature. As the Stamford population expanded the need for Early Childhood and Afterschool care became quite apparent.
By 1990 Piper's Hill had evolved into a full time Childcare Center. In 2003 Piper's Hill re-located to 17 Roxbury Road, expanding from 108 to 150 children.
Our primary goal is to provide holistic meaningful learning for all children. Our teachers are committed to providing learning experiences that will support each child in developing necessary skills that will ensure success in Kindergarten and beyond.
We look forward to meeting you!
